September 2007 Toronto Public Health contracts HPCG to conduct in-depth evaluation of Ontario Heart Health Program, entitled Rainbow Fun, a physical activity and healthy eating promotion program for day care centres in the City of Toronto.
June 2007 Invest in Kids contracts HPCG to conduct a national environmental scan of prenatal programs across Canada.
June 2007 Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation contracts HPCG to develop a model for a practical support fund for women with breast cancer. Multicomponent research includes: literature review of practical support needs; health insurance policy review; key informant interviews; environmental scan; and site consultations across Ontario.
May 2007 Toronto Public Health's Department of Policy and Planning, Sexual Health contracts with HPCG to conduct an evaluability assessment of its Condom Distribution Program for the City of Toronto.
Apr 2007 Cancer Care Ontario (CCO) contracts HPCG to update a best practices review of nutrition interventions conducted by HPCG in 2000, and to expand the review to include best practices for physical activity interventions for cancer and chronic disease prevention.
Mar 2007 York Region Heart Health Association contracts HPCG to design and conduct an in-depth evaluation of Ontario Heart Health physical activity program entitled Sole Mates for Seniors. HPCG also developing best practices program manual for public health professionals.
Feb 2007 Ontario Public Health Association (OPHA) contracts HPCG to evaluate its Healthforce Leadership Mentorship Project, a professional development initiative designed to increase leadership capacity among public health professionals.
Jan 2007 Canadian Breast Cancer Network (CBCN) contracts HPCG to review its community-based Model for National Collaboration and create plain language tools to increase awareness and use of the Model by those working in breast cancer, cancer and other health care sectors.
Oct 2006 Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit contracts with HPCG to conduct a community scan in the area of substance use and substance abuse prevention programs, including a survey of 300 community residents.
Sept 2006 Ontario Heart Health Physical Activity Program, titled the Central West Walkable Communities, contracts with HPCG to implement a multi-component, multi-site evaluation of its WalkON program including a community survey of 1800 residents.
Aug 2006 Haliburton-Kawartha-Pine Ridge District Health Unit contracts HPCG to develop, analyze and report on a community survey of women's health needs in Northumberland County with an emphasis on breast health and breast cancer prevention.
July 2006 Toronto Public Health's Workplace Health Team contracts with HPCG to design an evaluation plan the City of Toronto's comprehensive workplace health program, entitled Health Options at Work.
June 2006 Simcoe-Muskoka District Health Unit contracts with HPCG to consult on multi-site evaluation of Comprehensive Workplace Health project including training of Health Unit and workplace staff in evaluation methods.
May 2006 CHSNE, a collaboration of nine Ontario health units, contracts with HPCG to analyze and report on data collected in multi-site evaluation of the Nutrition Tools for Schools pilot project, a component of the provincial Call to Action: Creating a Healthy School Nutrition Environment.
Mar 2006 Health Communication Unit, Centre for Health Promotion, University of Toronto, contracts with HPCG to design multi-site in-depth evaluation of an Ontario Heart Health Physical Activity Program entitled Taking Action for Healthy Living - Walkable Communities.
